The j9 Automation Engine is an internet enabled control, automation, and media management software package providing automated and remote control for all your home automation and home theater devices from anywhere in the world.

Control your lighting & electrical, media players, security system, cameras, home theater, infrared devices, multi-room audio, thermostats, irrigation and more. Over 50 devices are supported.

  • Home/Office Control
View and control your system from anywhere using customizable graphical user interfaces from a standard pc monitor, touch screen monitor, or mobile device. (Windows OS, Linux, iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad, PocketPC, Windows CE) The sample touch screen interfaces provide control for most device types, and the Touch Screen Builder application provides an easy to use platform for creating your own custom touch screen user interfaces.

  • Automated Actions
Set up automated actions responding to events occurring in any devices. For example, turn on entryway lighting automatically when you arrive home, turn on your media player at sunrise, announce the weather forecast at 6:30am, send yourself an email when there is motion in your backyard, brighten the lighting in your home theater room when you press pause.

  • Web Browser Access
A built in web server and completely customizable web site contains dynamic web pages for most device types allowing the control of your system from any web browser. Add your own custom web pages using html and special server side script tags to control any of your devices. Support for Microsoft's IIS 5.0+ web server is also supported.

  • Internet Enabled
Each part of the software package is internet enabled providing the capability for an endless network of integration and control. View touch screen interfaces while away from home, connect automation devices located around the world into one system, set up automated actions responding to an event in a device far from home.

  • Expandable Architecture
Don't see support for a device you were looking to control? Option 1: An advanced scripting system in conjunction with generic serial and network drivers provide the flexibility of creating your own drivers for most devices. Option 2: A full software development kit provides the tools necessary to create native drivers for any home automation device. Option 3: Use the support forum to request a new driver.
